In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, MONAT® Global presented a challenge through its Facebook page the last week of October -the company’s official launching month- inviting its community of Market Partners to share a post on their social media, which announced that MONAT would make a donation of $5 to a breast cancer research organization for each “Share”. In just four days –from October 27^th to 31^st- MONAT counted 441 Shares, which translated into $2,205; the company rounded up the amount to $2,500 and donated the money to the Susan G. Komen® Breast Cancer Foundation.
“Supporting Susan G. Komen as our company’s first charitable effort is very special to us”, expressed Rayner Urdaneta, CEO of MONAT, “as this organization’s outstanding research, educational, and community health initiatives have had an immense impact in the lives of millions of individuals in the U.S. and abroad.” Mr. Urdaneta pointed out that this is a cause dear to their hearts, as they have close loved ones who struggled and survived the disease, including two of their executive team members.
According to Susan G. Komen®, it is estimated that in 2014 there will be 232,670 new cases of invasive breast cancer among U.S. women and 2,360 among U.S. men. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Hispanic women in the U.S.

How long does it take to see results with MONAT?

Some individuals see results within 1 to 4 weeks, but significant results within 90 days. This is because hair follicles undergo a relatively long dormancy period in between growth cycles (usually about 3 months). In addition, hair only grows about 1/2 inch per month in non-thinning areas and usually considerably slower in thinning areas.

It generally takes several cycles of growth/fall-out/re-growth, with the hair getting thicker and longer each time. Note that best re-growth results are seen with hair that was lost within the last 4 years and in areas of the scalp in which there is still some fine hair. It is much more difficult to try to restart a hair cycle once dormant than to prevent it from becoming that way. This is why it is so important to begin a routine with MONAT Treatment Systems before you actually need it. Keeping the scalp and hair healthy will help you keep your hair longer, fuller, stronger, and younger-looking for years to come.
What will happen if I stop using MONAT?
Your hair's growth cycle will return to its prior condition. You will retain the growth produced by MONAT. Additional hair growth after you stop taking MONAT will not have the benefits of being nourished by MONAT.

Every once in a blue moon, a hair product (or products) comes into your life, and your world is forever changed for the better. Such was the case for me recently when I had the opportunity to test out Monat Global's Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive. This oil is no joke. If you are just joining Let's Talk About Lipstick for the first time, let me let you in on a couple little tidbits that you may find useful in regards to this review. One, I am deep in the throes of growing out a very sassy pixie haircut (which I loved, but am ready for something new) so I am desperate to hang on to whatever growth I can between trims of old, dead ends. Secondly, I am a licensed Cosmetologist which means I can get my hands on the very best salon products at cost. This is not me bragging, just explaining that I've spent an embarrassingly large amount of scrill on hair care products #justbecauseIcan (and many times, have been left wondering what the big deal was with some of them). The only thing I can say about it that isn't technically complimentary is that it almost works too well. Meaning, it can be a bit heavy for my fine hair. I had to do a bit of experimenting with it to determine the best method for application for me personally, but once I did BOY HOWDY did I fall in love.
